Telugu Desam Party leaders in Telangana, who failed to get an appointment with the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao are now proposing to pay visit to national capital to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the state assembly winter sessions, scheduled to begin on December 16.
They are planning to undertake Delhi Yatra on December 14 and 15. Party sources said that they have already sought an appointment with Prime Minister in this regard. They are intending to highlight the sufferings of the farmers in the state.
It may be recalled that TDP leaders, led by its `fire brand’ MLA and Telangana party working president A Revanth Reddy have already organised `Rythu Poru Yatra’ in the state for on the spot study on the miserable conditions of the farmers during two and half years rule of TRS.

The TDP leaders are alleging that the government’s failure to fulfil its major poll promise waiver of crop loans, to full extent, led to misery for a large number of farmers. As their loan burden was not fully resolves, they are unable to get fresh loans.
The other issues include failure of the state government in coming to the rescue of drought-hit farmers and non-availability of seeds to farmers.
