Singam 3 postponed

Versatile actor Suriya has been betting big on the third instalment of the Singam franchise titled Singam 3. Hari directed the film which completed all the formalities and the movie has been aimed for December 23rd release. Suriya kept a close eye on the situations across the country after Modi announced currency demonetisation. The sudden demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa left the whole state in shock and the makers have been in plans to push the release date further. The recent cyclone Vardah shattered Chennai and its surroundings completely.

With all these shocking situations, the makers felt that December 23rd is not an ideal date for Singam 3 to hit the screens. They decided to push the release date of the film and an official date about the updated release date will be out soon. Suriya who pinned huge hopes on the film is nowhere in a hurry and he is quite careful about the release date. Anushka and Shruti Haasan are the female leads and 2D Entertainments are producing Singam 3. The movie has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages.
