A week after TDP’s former Gudivada MLA Raavi Venkateswara Rao, in an inebriated condition, created tension at Gudivada Club by opening fire with his revolver in the air, its MLC from Bapatla Annam Satish Prabhakar has created ruckus at Haritha Resort in Bapatla beach last night by attacking its staff members.

The MLC was in the beach resort with his friends to celebrate the birthday celebrations of film producer Koratala Sandeep. They had camp fire there and having dance. According to Resort Deputy Manager Srinivas he was called there, accusing the arrangements were not well started abusing him and beaten thrice.

When he went out from there and about to call his higher officials to inform the same, MLC’s followers standing their beaten him indiscriminately. They had also beaten other staff members of the resort, who tried to guard their manager. They had allegedly threatened him to face dire consequences if reported to anyone.

Srinivas said they were shocked and feared attempt on their life. Then they went to Bapatla rural police station to complain about MLC and his associates. Surprisingly, without taking their complaint they were made to wait in the police station all through the night.

Later, the MLC had allegedly threatened local media personal also to face severe consequences if they dare to report about the incident. Incidentally, the film maker Sandeep was earlier caught by Bapatla police from a hotel while playing with cards.

Incidentally, Haritha Resort is owned by state government’s Tourism Department.
