The much-awaited Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) is getting ready for commissioning its services partially from the middle of this year. Though the HMR was originally planned to do so by Ugadi, last year, later it was differed due to some unwarranted reasons.
Later, the works were moved slowly due to some administrative gaps. After the state government took a decide to clear all such problem, the works were speeds up since last six months. Already over 80 per cent works were almost completed, but still several gaps remained, mostly connecting points.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed Chief Secretary S P Singh to personally inspect ongoing works so that to ensure early commissioning of the route.
