YSR Congress Party MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy warned that people of the state are ready to bury the TDP government. During his Rajahmundry visit, he said that the youth are gearing up for a movement against the misrule of Chandrababu Naidu and women are angry over the cheating by the government. He said that he is sure this anger will transform into revolution.
Accusing that TDP is transforming the State into Afghanistan by trampling on freedom of expression, he said that people of the state are watching everything and the government will have to pay for its repression.
Expressing his severe concern over insulting of women’s representatives from the state by inviting women from all over the country to the National Women’s Parliament, he wondered in which direction the state is moving. He termed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as a “dictator”.
Strongly objecting the way the state government treated one of the front-ranking women legislator of the state R K Roja, who came to attend the conference on invitation, as a terrorist, he said it is undemocratic to treat an elected woman representative like this.
He said that his party would take the issue of Roja to Human Rights Commission and also move the court. Stating that the government cannot stop his party from exposing government’s misdeeds, he said that they would continue its agitations against anti-people policies of the government.
