After straddling different genres, actor Rana Daggubati is coming up with one more interesting role in his upcoming film, Ghazi which has him playing a naval officer. Ghazi is pitched as the first submarine film in the country’s history. The film, which traces the true incidents happened inside war submarine PNS Ghazi during Indo Pak war, is inspired from the book written by Sankalp Reddy, who has also directed it. Ahead of its release, the film was previewed for media and film personnel in Tollywood and Bollywood.
In both Telugu and Hindi, Ghazi has been generating rave reviews. All those who watched the film have been lavishing praises on the efforts put in by the entire team for pushing the envelope with a limited budget and a short span of time. Despite lacking the commercial elements that work in favor of the film’s box office prospects, Ghazi has a good chance to shine at the box office in Telugu and Hindi as there are no other big ticket films releasing in the next couple of weeks.
Most of the recent releases in Telugu and Hindi are closing in on their final run. So, Ghazi should have a solid run at the box office. The film is getting a wider release all over North India through Karan Johar and Rana is a popular actor in Bollywood. So , this should ensure good numbers all over.
