TRS MLCs coming out against the opposition tirade against K Chandrashekhar Rao’s regime questioning fulfilment of poll promises. TRS MLC R Bhupathi Reddy lashed out at the Congress leaders for deliberately spreading lies and falsehood, thereby, misleading the youth with regard to the non-filling up of vacant posts in the State government.
He said that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was taking steps to fill up the vacant posts and the youth were not in a disappointed state. He deplored that the Congress, TDP and T-JAC leaders were making baseless allegations against the TRS government which was striving to provide jobs to the unemployed youth.
He said that KCR was right when he mentioned in the State Assembly that there were 50,000 vacancies in various government departments before the formation of the State government. But, he recalled that 20,000 government employees hailing from the Andhra region were still continuing in the Telangana region.
Bhupati Reddy asserted that the State government was committed to provide thousands of jobs to the unemployed and asked the Opposition leaders to desist from spreading falsehood against KCR only to tarnish his image. Justice would be done to the unemployment youth, he added.
He wondered as to why that the same leaders kept quiet when injustice was being done to youth in the undivided State of Andhra Pradesh. He urged the Opposition leaders to cooperate with the government in developing Telangana State.
Meanwhile, a day after TDP leaders had questioned its “unfulfilled” promises at their `Praja Poru’ meeting at Gajwel, the TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar said the TDP had no moral right to question the TRS as it had failed to fulfil its promises made to people of AP during the 2014 elections He slammed TDP leadership for being incapable of starting construction of Amaravati capital even after three years.
