Actors Ram Charan and Arvind Swami, last seen together on screen in the 2016 Telugu actioner “Dhruva“, are likely to reunite for ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s next yet-untitled bilingual outing.
Ram Charan had told IANS that he is in talks with Mani Ratnam for a project.
“Talks are on for this project. It’s too early to comment,” Charan had said.
But a source close to the “Magadheera” actor has now confirmed that the yet-untitled project will roll soon.
“It’s going to be an action-based script. Arvind Swami might play an important role. Soon after the release of aKaatru Veliyidai’, pre-production work on this project will begin,” the source said.
The source added that the principal shooting of the project will begin from August.
Ratnam currently awaits the release of Tamil drama “Kaatru Veliyidai”, while Ram Charan is set to commence work on a yet-untitled rural-based Telugu drama with director Sukumar.
