When it comes to issues like love, marriage and money, attitudes change with every generation. What was the norm 20 years ago is an outdated concept now.
This has led to issues between parents and youngsters. Ideological clashes and ‘generation gap’ issues are becoming very common in every household. Raise the topic of marriage in any middle class indian household and you are bound to draw extremely passionate reactions both in favour of and against the topic. Today’s youngsters don’t like to be rushed into an arranged marriage.
Currently, one Telugu film is getting ready to tackle this topic. It is none other than Nandini Reddy’s ‘Kalyana Vaibhogame’. The film deals with the issue of parental pressure and how it affects youngsters when it comes to marriage. Naga Shourya and Malavika are the lead actors in the movie and it is getting ready for a release on March 4th.
According to producer Damodar Prasad, the film has all the ingredients that made their earlier venture ‘Ala Modalaindhi’ a smash it. “Parents and kids are fighting bitterly when it comes to the topic of marriage and Kalyana Vaibhogame is a film that tackles this subject in a very contemporary and sensitive manner”, he said.
Kalyan Koduri has composed the music for this movie and Lakshmi Bhupal has penned the dialogues.
