Indian Premier League (IPL) happens to be the biggest bet on cricket and is the most famous league in the sport. Vishnuvardhan Induri who produced the biopics of NTR, Jayalalithaa and Kapil Dev acquired all the rights of IPL. He will produce a film on IPL which is based on the book ‘Maverick Commissioner’ that is penned by sports journalist Boria Majumdar. The film also narrates the journey of Lalit Modi, the mastermind behind the concept of IPL.
An official announcement was made today and Vishnu Induri said that the book will be adapted into a feature film. The scriptwork is happening currently and the details about the cast, crew will be made official very soon. Vishnu also said that the project may start rolling next year.
