Koratala Siva is one of the finest writers and directors of Telugu cinema. After having a grand launch with Mirchi as director, he delivered super hits like Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage and Bharat Ane Nenu. His last film Acharya was a massive debacle and he even faced copyright issues and landed into a controversy. The issue was settled during the shoot. Upcoming writer Sarath Chandra filed a petition in a local court against Koratala Siva about a publication in Swathi magazine. Sarath claims that Koratala Siva copied his story and made Srimanthudu.
Koratala Siva challenged it in the Supreme Court and the top court gave a shock to Koratala. The Supreme Court asked Koratala Siva to follow the judgement of the local court and face criminal charges. For now, Koratala Siva is busy with the shoot of NTR’s Devara and he is yet to respond about the controversy of Srimanthudu plagiarism.
