Abhishek Pictures, one of the leading film companies in Tollywood at present, has distributed some high profile films in recent times. The distribution house is soon going to make its debut in film production with Boyapati Sreenu’s next which will be launched very soon. Also, they have formally announced their remaining projects which will be made one after another in the coming years.
In the meantime, Abhishek Pictures is continuing to make rapid strides with film distribution. They are acquiring the rights of various crazy upcoming films. Dubbing films are not an exception. Having distributed Kabali in Nizam, they have now bagged the dubbing rights of the Vikram – Nayanatara starrer Inkokadu for a hefty 8.5 Crores. This is a much bigger price than expected because none of Vikram’s recent film did manage to break even in Telugu. Most of his films bombed at the box office.
But, the distribution house is confident that film will preform well at the box office. So, Inkokadu should fare exceptionally well to touch the break even mark. The trailer is intriguing and the visuals are promising, but we have to wait and see if the film can strike the right chord.
Abhishek Pictures has already suffered huge blows recently in the form of Loafer, Brahmotsavam and Kabali, which failed to break even and these films ended as huge disasters. So, the distribution house should be sensible and prudent while shelling out huge money bags as they have a long way to go in the future once their production house gets established.
