Director Shankar is making right moves to set new benchmarks for Indian cinema with the Robot 2, the sequel to the blockbuster science fiction thriller Robot which released in 2010. He is planning to shoot crucial part and couple of songs of in the unexplored locations of Boliva.
Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that Shankar has roped in acclaimed cinematographer Nirav Shah to can shots for the film. Nirav Shah cranked the camera for many films including Dhoom, Wanted , Sainikudu, Gabbar is Back and Size Zero to name a few. The regular shooting of the film will kick start from next week and the film will be launched tomorrow on the eve of Rajinikanth’s birthday.
Amy Jackson will play the female lead and AR Rahman will score the tunes. Lyca International will pool in money for this film which is going to be the most expensive Indian film till date.
