If Kangana Ranaut is the mother of controversies, RGV is the ‘Father of Controversies’. Such is the reputation of the maverick director. Once famous for his all-time classics, the director became the home of stark, nondescript and obscene comments. Adding to his merit, his recent comments on TDP MPs, calling them as jokers, did raise some eyebrows in political circles.
His tweet read, ‘No wonder @narendramodi thinks Andhra Pradesh is a joke if jokers like this are elected as representatives of the great AP people….’, and posting a pic of TDP MPs, where TDP MP Sivaprasad was seen in ‘Pothuraju’ avatar.
Further expressing his disgust, ‘These guys of TDP are a national embracement to the international reputation of TDP’.
Reacting to this, Actor & TDP MP Sivaprasad, who featured in the pic posted by RGV, said, ‘I am not offended by comments made by Ram Gopal Varma. Comments made by jobless people will never bother me.
I think Varma is trying to promote himself by targeting me. It would be nice if he can come up with a unique idea, instead of his lame criticism.
Moreover, it is because of the protests carried out by the TDP MPs outside the Parliament, the Centre had to come down. Henceforth, we wouldn’t be trusting the BJP anymore’.
