As a continuation to the Part-1 which discussed about those actors who made 2017 a thoroughly memorable year for movie lovers, here is the another set of actors :
Jr NTR from Jai Lava Kusa: It was the first time Jr.NTR chose to do a triple action film and it was obviously a feast for his fans. But the real fun was Jai’s character which involved stuttering in dialogue delivery and amazing body language. For an actor who loves to perform in roles with mythological overtones, this was a cakewalk!
Rana from Ghazi/Baahubali-2/ Nene Raju Nene Mantri: This handsome hunk has been choosing very interesting films right from his debut film Leader but Ghazi was very special. This first ever feature film on submarine was greatly received by the audience. Needless to mention, he brought the evil role Bhallala Deva into life for Baahubali-2 with such poise and perfection! The actor stunned everyone with his badass politician role for Teja’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri as well.
Ravi Teja from Raja The Great: The mass maharaja was desperate to get a breakthrough with a comeback film and he did strike success by playing the role of a blind yet optimistic hero. The actor’s comedy timing, onscreen chemistry with Srinivasa Reddy was totally entertaining to all.
Nani from Nenu Local/ Ninnu Kori: The Natural Star continued his success streak in 2017 as well with two contrasting films which made 2017 a feel good year! Especially after a heavy laden film like Baahubali-2, Ninnu Kori was like a whiff of fresh air and relaxing experience!
Anushka from Baahubali-2: This actress has gone the extra mile in proving why she is the empress of Tollywood. She breathed life to the role of princess Devasena and her amazing chemistry with Prabhas deserves a special mention.
Nivetha Thomas from Ninnu Kori: The “Gentleman” actress proved once again the she has amazing chemistry with her co-star Nani in this film. She also played the role of a strong female lead who needn’t look excessively glamorous or look submissive to the hero to get additional marks for her performance! Kudos to her confidence in handling a difficult subject on her shoulders.
Sharwanand from Shatamanam Bhavati/ Mahanubhavudu : This laid back actor did wonders in the family drama Shatamanam Bhavati earlier this year and then took an out and out entertainment subject Mahanubhavudu. He played the role of a guy with OCD with such an amazing prowess that it earned him even more fans! Nobody can forget Sharwa’s nostalgic 80s look for Nilavade song in Shatamanam Bhavati for years to come.
Nivetha Pethuraj in Mental Madilo: Another whiff of beautiful air came from this lovely actress who was breathtakingly perfect as the girl next door. In fact, her role is a real breather throughout the film. The simple kurti clad look she sported throughout the film was a reflection for urbane Telugu women for sure.
Pooja Hegde from Duvvada Jagannadham: The comedy girl next door actress transformed into glam diva for this flick. She sported a bikini as well as a traditional dress with equal ease and she danced like a storm opposite Allu Arjun! Tollywood surely has got the next version of glamour doll in the form of her!
