It looks like Adivi Sesh’s quest for a career defining role has finally ended with his latest release, Kshanam. The highly talented actor-director, who made his debut in 2010 with the supernatural thriller Karma, has been waiting for one big hit which could turn the fortunes of his underrated career.
Although he scored brownie points for his brief yet crucial cameo roles in Panjaa and Baahubali, Adivi Sesh needed a meaty role to showcase his talent and give some impetus to his low lying career. In Kshanam, he gave a balanced performance and also used his knowledge and experience on craft to a great extent in making a perfect suspense thriller to keep the audience on the edge of their seat.
The watertight screenplay, penned by Adivi Sesh and director Ravi Kanth Parepu, is one of the biggest assets to the film. The strong word of mouth has helped the film register solid collections over the weekend. With more screens being added, it only gets better for Kshanam as it enter into the crucial weekdays.
