After a lot of dilly dallying, Akhil Akkineni gave the nod to his second project which will be helmed by Manam fame Vikram Kumar. Nagarjuna is planning a grand relaunch for the Akkineni lad because his debut ended as a huge disaster at the box office. It is learnt that Vikram has readied a complete romantic entertainer for Akhil who will be seen romancing a newbie in the film.
Currently, Vikram Kumar is busy fine tuning the script. The fresh update reveals that the regular shooting will commence from January next year. It is learnt that Vikram has sought time for a couple of months to complete the scripting. In the meantime, the production house is busy finalizing the cast and crew for the project.
It was almost an year since Akhil’s debut film got released. He considered a bunch of directors before giving the consent to Vikram’s script. It was Nagarjuna who stepped up to end the wait time for Akhil and locked Vikram as the director. Annapurna Studios banner will produce the film.
