Rakshasudu is a crime and horror-thriller that featured Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the lead role. Top Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar loved the film and he decided to remake it in Hindi. The top actor flew to London some time ago and he completed his quarantine recently. Akshay Kumar kickstarted the shoot of Rakshasudu remake today in London and most of the film’s shoot will be wrapped up in and around London. Rakul Preet Singh is the leading lady and the actress will join the sets at a later date.
Ranjit M Tewari who directed Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom is roped in to direct the remake. The film is tentatively titled Cinderella and the title will be announced once the shoot of the film gets completed. Pooja Entertainment along with Akshay Kumar and Koneru Satyanarayana are the producers of the film. Cinderella will release next year. Akshay Kumar has films like Sooryavanshi, Atrangi Re, Bachchan Pandey, Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan lined up for release in the coming months.
