Alia Bhatt is one of the finest actresses of Indian cinema and she has done several challenging roles in her career which made her reach a top place in Bollywood. The actress is promoting her upcoming movie Jigra which is slated for October 11th release. The actress made some strong statements about the promotions playing a crucial role in the success of a film. She said that no amount of PR can save a film that is bad and promotions cannot be credited for a successful film. “If the film works, you can say that it is because of the promotional strategy” told Alia.
“It is bad to highlight facts about someone’s life. It also becomes toxic and negative when they start to lie about all these facts. There is a need for everyone to take a step back and educate about not spreading lies. A lie is always a lie” told Alia. Vedang Raina and Manoj Pahwa will be seen in other important roles in Jigra. Karan Johar; Apoorva Mehta; Alia Bhatt; Shaheen Bhatt and Soumen Mishra are the producers.
