The election battle lines are drawn between the NDA and the UPA associated parties. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has made it mandatory for all his party MLAs and MLCs to attend his deeksha to be held in Delhi. Naidu has taken it upon himself the task of unifying the divided opposition parties in his bid to teach the Modi-Shah duo a big lesson. The BJP national leadership puts up a show of ignoring Naidu but going by their frustration levels, it is clear they are clearly anxious about the TDP chief’s every move.
CBN is going to Delhi tomorrow to hold meetings with the anti-BJP leaders there. His efforts are to keep the process of unifying campaign alive during the Parliament session. AICC President Rahul Gandhi has also taken due note of the TDP chief’s significant contributions to the future anti-Modi alliance. Most probably, Naidu’s deeksha will be held in Delhi on February 11 when all the other parties will also be invited to visit and express their feelings against the NDA partners.
Naidu has also directed his party MLAs to wear black dresses for tomorrow’s bandh called by the people’s organisations and pro-Special Status agitators. The TDP leaders many not directly take part and enforce the bandh but they will express their solidarity for the cause of a better deal to the AP state.
