To paint yellow all around Andhra Pradesh and to leave Naidu’s imprint everywhere the state government is launching publicity blitzkrieg online and offline. Apart from erecting hoardings at every junction in the towns of state, and occupying the virtual space in social media, now the state government is all set to invade the movie theaters with short documentaries to publicize how chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is struggling to put the Andhra Pradesh in the top slot by 2019. His efforts to build a green-field world-class capital and transform the state into a look alike of China, Japan, Singapore, his initiatives to eradicate poverty and make the Andhra Pradesh into knowledge society will be shown to the people of state.
As many as 15 documentary films are all set to hit the theatres across the State in the next couple of day. State has approved all these documentaries, produced by the AP State Film Television & Theatre Development Corporation Ltd, for screening, as ‘newsreel’ with immediate effect. It will herald the return of the newsreel in the state. Neeru-Chettu, NTR Bharosa, Land Pooling and NTR Sujala Sravanti are some of the short films approved by the government for the maha campaign.
“The Managing Director, AP State Film Television and Theatre Development Corporation Limited is requested to take necessary action to release these documentary films in all the cinema theatres throughout the State for screening,” Mohd. Ahsan Reja, Special Secretary to government stated.
