After spending a night in the Chanchalaguda jail of Hyderabad, popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun, who was arrested by Chikkadapally police on Friday afternoon in connection with the death of a woman on December 5th during the special premiere of Pushpa 2, has finally been released on Saturday morning at around 7 am.
That Allu Arjun was granted an interim bail by the Telangana High Court yesterday evening is a known news. However, Bunny was not immediately released as the order copy was not supplied to the jail authorities. Despite efforts by Bunny’s lawyers to ensure his release by midnight, the jail superintendent refused to act without the official release of order. Even though it was uploaded before midnight, Bunny couldn’t be released due to some formalities.
Finally, he was released just a while ago from the back gate of Chanchalaguda jail. His father Allu Arvind and few other close associates accompanied him to his residence. He was arrested from his residence on Friday and was subsequently sent to a 14-day judicial remand by the district court. Later, he was granted interim bail by Telangana High Court on a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
Meanwhile, sources revealed that Bunny will address a press conference very soon to thank all his supporters and well wishers who stood by him in this matter.
