Icon Star Allu Arjun continues to rewrite box office history. Pushpa: The Rule, the highly-anticipated sequel to the blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise, has secured a record-shattering deal for its OTT, Satellite, and Audio rights.
As per top Kollywood producer KE Gnanavel Raja, the film’s non-theatrical rights for the Hindi version alone are valued at a staggering Rs 260 crore,. This makes it the highest ever for a single or multiple-language non-theatrical rights acquisition in India.
He also said that the film’s theatrical revenue is expected to be more than that of ‘KGF 2’ in the worst case scenario. In the best case scenario, of course, the sky would be the limit, he added.
His analysis proves that the enigmatic Pushpa Raj is an iconic character and the film is most-awaited. The first part took the nation by storm, and Pushpa: The Rule promises to be even bigger and bolder. Allu Arjun’s phenomenal performance, coupled with the film’s explosive action and director Sukumar’s narration, has created a frenzy among moviegoers.
The film will hit the screens on December 6, 2024.
