The master plan of AP Capital Amaravati and designs of proposed Government buildings for Assembly, High Court and Secretariat there turned out to be a major attraction at the ongoing ‘Smart City Expo’ being at Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan.
The iconic towers symbolising future potential of Amaravati were a big hit with the visitors at the stall opened by the Amaravati Smart and Sustainable City Corporation Ltd (ASSCCL) at the expo. The plans and designs for government employees, officials and people’s representatives’ residential quarters were also put on display.
The expo was actually inaugurated by Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia on the first day. The dignitaries took a look at the exhibits at the Amaravati stall and enquired about the progress of the capital construction.
ASSCCL Deputy Director V. Bhavani Prasad, Project Managers A. Phani Kumar and R. Divya Keerthi, Manager Koteswara Rao and consultants were present.
