Farmers who gave their lands under Land Pooling Scheme for the State Capital Amaravati will be given plots in February. A draft Master Plan of Amaravati will be notified on December 30.
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P Narayana said that the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) will allot plots to the farmers who gave their lands under Land Pooling Scheme, to the State Capital Amaravati.
The minister said that the government is planing to notify the draft development plan of Amaravati city on December 30. “There are some small changes brought to the earlier Master Plan, we will talk to farmers on these things,” he said. If there are any objections to the changes, the Land Pooling Scheme Farmers will be given a thirty days time to register their objections, he said.
Narayana said that a survey would be conducted on the ground to demarcate the boundary marks of the plots to allot to the farmers. Certificate of allotment of plots will be given to the farmers. On the issue of compensation to the land acquisition order for the lands in the islets of river Krishna, the minister said “the government is planning to issue an order soon.”
It was also decided to acquire lands for a proposed eight-lane Outer Ring Road, around the new state capital. The 210. Kms of ORR encircles 89 villages, and within this ORR a Green Field Airport is also planned, Narayana said. He said three sites were identified within the CRDA area,to locate the proposed airport. But, it was the Airports Authority of India, which conducts an inspection and finalise the site suitable for setting up a GFA, he said.
