Amazon Prime has been slowly making a huge impact across the circles of the country. They have been picking up the digital rights of all the big films from the all the Indian languages for hefty prices. The makers too have been quite happy as they have been getting decent revenue through the digital rights. The latest news we hear is that the digital streaming giant acquired the digital rights of the most awaited Indian film 2.0.
Amazon paid a massive price which was not quoted and snapped the digital rights of 2.0 which includes Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Vijay Subramaniam, Director of Content for Amazon Prime confirmed the news but preferred not to disclose the price. Directed by Shankar, 2.0 is said to be the costliest Indian film till date and will hit the screens during summer 2018. Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson played the lead roles.
