TDP spokesman Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy on Thursday made several allegations against TTD executive officer, A V Dharma Reddy. He said that criminal cases were filed in Delhi against Dharma Reddy. However, he kept that as secret and became the executive officer of the TTD, Anam alleged.
Anam further said that Dharma Reddy had turned the TTD into a place of corruption. A massive corruption is happening in Tirumala, he said and asserted that the Telugu Desam Party government would recover all the money.
While demanding that Dharma Reddy be removed from the Executive Officer post, Anam Ramana Reddy alleged that Dharma Reddy was lobbying Delhi against the cases. He was influencing the people to ensure that the cases are not taken up from the cold storage, Ramana Reddy alleged.
He also alleged that TTD chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy had started 10 per cent corruption in the temple works. He said that Bhumana was taking 10 percent commission in every work and is now called as 10 per cent Bhumana.
The TDP leader also alleged that Bhumana Karunakar Reddy’s son Abhinay Reddy had purchased 5.5 acres of land where the TTD had allocated house sites for the TTD employees. He wondered how Abhay Reddy was able to purchase the lands where the TTD employees colony was proposed.
The TDP leader demanded thorough enquiry into the corruption charges levelled against Karunakar Reddy and his family members, besides EO Dharma Reddy.
