Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, former cabinet minister of United Andhra Pradesh who is currently in Telugu Desam Party clarifies on leaving Telugu Desam Party during his meet with press reporters.
Anam Ramanarayana Reddy served as the Finance and Planning Minister for the state of Andhra Pradesh, in the government led by Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy. After bifurcation of the state he left Congress Party and joined Telugu Desam. He is strong leader from Nellore district. However they have been rumours on him leaving Telugu Desam Party. He gave official clarification from his side when asked by reporters last night about the same. He replied, “I took up many posts and worked effectively in the past.. But I can not stay in a place where there is no recognition and respect for me, “said former minister and senior TDP leader Anam Ramanarayana Reddy. He added that he and his family had close friends, followers and fans throughout the district and he would discuss all of them and make a decision on his political future. Probably as part of the same program, he has been meeting several leaders across the Nellore district in past few days.
Earlier, there have been rumours that he will be leaving TDP to join ysrcp. However there also have been rumours that Jagan did not confirmed seat for him and so he is still deliberating on which party to join. We will have to wait and see what decision he will take regarding his political future
