MLAs showcased their artistic talents through one-act plays and comedy skits during the closing ceremony of the legislators’ sports competition in Vijayawada. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan couldn’t contain their laughter at the entertaining performances.

The two-day sports competition for Legislative Assembly and Council members concluded grandly in Vijayawada. Several MLAs captivated the audience with cultural performances and comedy skits during the closing ceremony. CM Chandrababu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan normally serious about public issues, were seen laughing heartily throughout the event.

Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghuram Krishnam Raju received thunderous applause for his solo performance as Duryodhana. His dialogue delivery was so impressive that both the Andhra Pradesh CM and Deputy CM stood up to appreciate him. Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh also mesmerized everyone with his portrayal of Palnati Balachandrudu.

Chief Whip GV Anjaneyulu entertained everyone by mimicking MLA Edukondalu. The skit featured Gudur MLA Sunil as his PA, Vishnukumar Raju as a fellow MLA, and MLAs Julakanti Brahma Reddy, Aravinda Babu, and Koona Ravi Kumar as party workers. MLAs Vijaykumar and Eeshwar Rao performed an “inappropriate songs” skit that had everyone, including the CM and Deputy CM, in splits.

Winners of both the sports competitions and cultural performances received prizes from Nara Chandrababu Babu, Konidela Pawan Kalyan, and Ayyanna Patrudu at the event.
