She’s technically just a film old. She’s had the Nivin Pauly-starrer Action Hero Biju, the Malayalam film released so far. And yet, she’s creating sensation. Anu Emmanuel is the new import from the Mallu land into Telugu filmdom. But there’s something really different about this girl… she’d being talked about… A lot!
She had started off as a child artiste in a Malayalam film Swapna Sanchari. She went on a break and then came back, and how! Today, she’s a name on everyone’s lips. She hasn’t made her T-Town debut but she’s like that hot piece of cake which everyone wants!
Anu has already signed two films – Gopichand’s Oxygen, which she has almost finished shooting for, and Nani’s upcoming romantic drama with director Virinchi Varma. The latest is that she’s been okayed for Raj Tarun’s next with Dongaata director Krishna Vamsi.
Well, in less than 6 months, the actress has been signed for three films. But what’s more interesting is that she’s been flooded with several offers ever since her first Malayalam film has released. We hear Anu is the first choice for any director who’s in search of a talented heroine and a fresh face in one person.
With several directors knocking on her door, Anu is apparently treading carefully. If things work out well for this girl, she could just well be the next Rakul Preet of the industry. And what’s more, the element of mystery surrounding her (not much is available on the internet! Not even pictures) are an added advantage. Watch out for her.
