Megastar Chiranjeevi’s eagerly awaited comeback film, which is titled Kathilantodu,will roll out from June 6th in Hyderabad. The pre production work has been wrapped up and Vinayak has locked the script for the film. Ram Charan Tej will produce the film on Konidela Productions banner in association with Lyca International.

Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that gorgeous actress Anushka Shetty has been confirmed to play Chiru’s romantic interest in the film. While there were reports that Anushka was approached for the role, a close source to the unit informed that Anushka has given nod to the role after she had the narration recently. This will be the first time Anushka is going to pair up with Chiranjeevi for a full length role. Previously, she sizzled in an item song in Chiranjeevi’s Stalin.

Devi Sri Prasad will score the tunes and Ratnavelu will crank the camera for the film.
