Andhra Pradesh government, which aims to construct and develop Amaravati as an economically vibrant city, today appointed a high-level committee to oversee the first phase of capital development. The ten-member committee of secretaries will draw up the list of mandatory developments required to be completed by December, 2018 in Capital City, Amaravati along with responsible agencies to complete those developments. In Phase-I, to be completed by December, 2018, the government plans to develop seed capital with Queen Bees and government complexes in a targeted manner. The committee will recommend development of structures to be taken up for the first phase of the green field capital. This is an important step before the civil works begin for the construction of the capital city.
