Delhi political circles are full of rumours that the Modi-Shah duo will launch a crackdown against AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the next few weeks. They may not wait for some more time. This is contrary to the BJP’s previous strategies not to act against rival parties’ state governments in the first one year of their regimes. These rumours are coming out after the BJP AP leaders are giving one complaint after another to Union Ministers to punish CM Jagan Reddy for his revenge attitude against BJP leaders in the state. BJP AP leaders met and complained to Union Home Minister Amit Shah over false police cases being filed against their party leaders in the state.
Interestingly, Amit Shah is already humiliating CM Jagan for hurting industrial and investment sentiment in the country. Now, Shah is also taking serious view of the Jagan Circar political harassment. He has enquired about questioning of BJP senior leader Ramasubba Reddy in the Vivekananda Reddy murder case. Shah Office has begun placing special focus on AP government’s omissions including filing false SC, ST Atrocities cases against rivals. The immediate action against Jagan would be the cancellation of Jagan Reddy bail in the CBI Rs 43,000 Cr illegal assets cases. The Centre is serious that YCP has not stopped harassment of the leaders who left the TDP and joined the BJP recently.
