Andhra Pradesh cabinet decided to extend exgratia of Rs 25 lakh to the Mustaq Ahmed, who died in Siachen avalanche last week.
The Cabinet, which met this afternoon, took the decision to help the family of the jawan from Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh in every possible way.
The cabinet chaired by Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu also decided to provide employment to one member of the family.
Mustaq, a cheerful soldier of 30 hails from Parnapalli village near Nadyala town in Andhra Pradesh. He joined 19 th Battalion of Madras Regiment on September 2004. According army sources, he was full of initiative and always volunteered for any opportunity. During his illustrious career spanning a decade he had formed part of counter militancy in the North East and J&K.
Mustaq mortal remains reached Begum Airport this afternoon. And later they were transported to his village by road.
