Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday resolved to ratify the Constitution Amendment Bill on Goods and Service Tax (GST) by holding an Assembly session on September 8.
In the marathon Cabinet meeting headed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada, the Cabinet members gave their nod to pass four Bills during the Assembly session.
Along with the ratification of GST Bill, the Cabinet approved to pass Bills related to the amendment of Registration and Stamps department, amendment to N.G Ranga Agriculture University Act, amendment to the Act in granting permissions to private agricultural colleges.
It is also learnt that the Cabinet gave its nod for land acquisition in setting up various firms in Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam and Kurnool districts. There was discussion in the Cabinet meeting on utilising drones.
