‘What a stunning place… Love coming to Vizag.” This message was tweeted by India captain Virat Kohli who came to Visakhapatnam to lead his team against West Indies in second one-day match at ACA stadium.
An upbeat Kohli has also sent a selfie photo taken by himself in the tweet. The selfie featured the spectacular and stunning Vizag beach behind him from the window of his room in a higher storey of the building.
Happy over Kohli’s tweet, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu retweeted thanking the captain for his wonderful comments. Naidu said he was very happy for Vizag as ut was fast becoming an international destination liked by world renowned personalities.
CM has a special affection for Vizag ever since he personally oversaw recovery and rehabilitation in the beach city which was ravaged in Hudhud cyclone in 2014, just a few months after he took over as first CM of residual AP state. Vizag wore a new look after the reconstruction efforts and it began earning praise from visitors all over.
