Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Advocate General on Wednesday filed lunch motion petition in Hyderabad High Court challenging the stay order on ‘Swiss Challenge’ model. However, the court refused to accept the petition and said it would verify it on Thursday.
The High Court stayed the tender process initiated by the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) to select master developer for the startup area in the capital city Amaravati.
As per the CRDA schedule, the last date for submission of bid ended on Tuesday for technical eligibility. Following the stay order given by the High Court, the CRDA officials kept the process aside.
Meanwhile, the opposition party YSRCP said since there were severe irregularities in the Swiss Challenge model it has decide to approach court State. Speaking to media persons, Botcha Satyanarayana wondered as to why the AP State government is investing Rs 12,000 crore while the Singapore-based company, which owns 52 per cent stake, is investing Rs 350 crore. The High Court will hear the case on Swiss Challenge on October 31.
