Both the Upper and Lower houses of the Parliament are witnessing the rage of Andhra Pradesh MPs, irrespective of political parties. After receiving the directives from Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP MPs, in particular, raised their tempo in carrying the protests and demonstrations against the Centre, and in particular, against BJP. The houses echoed with the anti-BJP slogans.
The TDP MPs surrounded the Speaker Podium in the Lok Sabha, while Congress leader KVP Ramachandra Rao faced one-day suspension from Rajya Sabha.
Rajya Sabha Speaker and Vice President, Venkaiah Naidu called for theproper functioning of the house, given the disruptions caused by TDP and YSRCP MPs. The comments made by Venkaiah Naidu’s, ‘We are here to do justice only. Justice can only be through debate, discussions and discretion. And not by disruption’, clearly highlight the state of affairs currently going on in the Rajya Sabha.
The rise in TDP MPs tempo is the result of Chandrababu’s stroke during TDP Coordination Committee that took place yesterday. Chandrababu Naidu vented out his anger on the way the protests are being carried out.
