Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi founder and Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha on Wednesday made some interesting comments on Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu.
She said that Venkaiah would come to Telangana if he has to play politics on Telangana Liberation Day. When it comes to flood relief and financial help following rains, only Andhra Pradesh strikes to his mind, she quipped.
She was speaking after launching an android app on Telangana folk and Bathukamma songs in Hyderabad.
Referring to the aerial survey conducted by Venkaiah Naidu in flood affected districts in AP, Kavitha said that Venkaiah should also remember that Telangana too was affected due to torrential rains.
“It’s not that he belongs to Andhra Pradesh, but Venkaiah Naidu was entrusted some responsibility at the Centre as Union Minister,” she said.
Telangana State should also get the relief help from the Centre similar to the way Andhra Pradesh is getting, she demanded. Rains wrecked havoc for the past two and half weeks in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh paralysing normal life.
Meanwhile, the commuters are seeing hell with damaged city roads filled with potholes. Commuters are also suffering from eye infections due to heavy dust on the roads after the torrential rains lashed for the past one week.
