AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy’s Public Relations team is already filled with imported officials and journalists from Telangana. They have very poor understanding of the local culture and lifestyles of the Andhra people. Despite facing criticism in this respect, Jagan has now decided to give one more top post to a Telanganite.
Rumours say that Retired Judge Vangala Eeswaraiah Goud is being appointed as the Chairman of AP Higher Education Council soon. He hails from the Nalgonda district. The only eligibility of Justice Goud was that he openly criticised the TDP along caste and community lines. Prior to the elections, Eeswaraiah Goud attacked TDP saying that Chandrababu Naidu was promoting only his caste in judges’ appointments and ignoring backward classes. Goud is a BC by community.
But, in the past, the YCP and Sakshi Media made allegations of collusion between Chandrababu and Goud to damage Jagan. Very strangely, Goud became friendly to YCP prior to 2019 elections. Whoever criticised TDP along caste lines is now being rewarded now. Retired judge Laxman Reddy has also made similar caste remarks against TDP and he is getting Lokayukta post.
