Young actor Vijay Devarakonda turned out to be an overnight star with his recent outing Arjun Reddy. The movie directed by Sandeep Vanga won the hearts of the youngsters and it raked huge money in its final run all over. Made on a budget of less than Rs 5 crores, the film went on to collect Rs 25 crores in its final run and it has been termed as one of the classics of Telugu cinema. The makers did not close the satellite deal as they expected a decent price.
Now Star MAA acquired the satellite rights of Arjun Reddy for Rs 3.5 crores which is not a great price for a blockbuster. With cuss words and lipc-locks throughout the film, Arjun Reddy will get a major chop off for the television version which did not fetch great price. With already two months passed, the makers too were keen on closing the satellite deal. Star MAA is in plans to air Arjun Reddy during Diwali season.
