The war between Arun Jaitley (AJ) and Chandrababu Naidu (CBN) has finally resulted in breaking the alliance between TDP and BJP both at the state and Centre. With Arun Jaitley stating that Special Category Status cannot be given to Andhra Pradesh, the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu stubborn on Special Category Status, the fallout was expected to be inevitable.
The TDP Cabinet Ministers are expected to submit their resignations by tomorrow morning. At the same time, Chandrababu Naidu has also decided to withdraw TDP’s support to the NDA alliance at the Centre. This clear hints the possibility of Chandrababu being a part of the Federal Front, an alternative to BJP and Congress parties at the power of seat, New Delhi.
It will be interesting to see whether BJP will come down, and try to negotiate with TDP regarding the Cabinet Ministers resignation.
During a key meeting with the TDP members, Chandrababu Naidu, along with the rest of the party members have felt that it is high time that they have to come out of NDA and BJP alliance at Centre and State respectively.
Chandrababu Naidu is expected to make an official comment at around 10:15 pm or late into the night. TDP will be the first party to come out of NDA alliance, and most likely parties like Shiv Sena and others can follow the path of TDP.
P.S – Cabinet Meeting is currently underway in New Delhi. AP (TDP) Cabinet Ministers, both Sujana Chowdhary and Ashok Gajapathi Raju are in the meeting.
