The Andhra Pradesh Government, which is running the temporary capital from Vijayawada, finds it difficult to hold the Assembly session from Amaravati capital region. According to sources, chief minister chandrababu Naidu is said to have declined the proposal to hold the winter session in a make-shift assembly built capital region due to the huge expenditure involved and shot time. The session is likely in at the end of November of first week of December.
In a meeting held in Vijayawada this morning between the chief minister Naidu and speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, it was decided to hold the winter session in Hyderabad. Speaker Kodela was in favor of holding the winter sessions at Tulluru by constructing an ad hoc assembly. He held discussions with R & B officials and asked them to prepare a report on building a temporary shelter to hold the sessions and also the expected budget cost. The officials have reportedly told the chief minister and the speaker that it would difficult to make ready Assembly hall in 30 days. The for the time being the ideas had been dropped and the house would meet in December in Hyderabad.
