Rajya Sabha MP and senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad made interesting comments on AIMIM party. He told, he is repenting for propping up MIM in the state in 40 years.

In 1994 elections, AIMIM had contested total 20 seats but won only one seat. In 1999, AIMIM contested 5 seats and won 4 seats. It contested 7 seats in 2004 but won only 4 seats. But same AIMIM won 7 seats in 2009. In 2014 also it won 7 seats. It is known news that late YSR and Congress party supported AIMIM in 2009 and helped its seas grow from 4 to 7.

While addressing the media, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that, he and his Congress party supported the AIMIM to grow politically by fielding weaker candidates against them. He also said that AIMIM leaders only interest is to illegally occupy lands and they need ruling party’s support for that. He added, they never bothered issues plaquing people. He also told that, TRS, AIMIM and BJP all parties have secret pact and they all report to their bigger boss, who is PM Modi.

Whatever, Ghulam Nabi Azad told is real fact and it is Congress and leaders like him helped AIMIM grow politically. But Azad also has to answer people first, why he encouraged them in the first place despite knowing their interest is to illegally occupy lands. Now also he revealed all these things because AIMIM is supporting TRS. Had Owaisis supported Congress led Praja Kootami, Azad might have been praising AIMIM now also.
