Baahubali franchise remains as a classic in the hearts of Indian audience. The film impressed all the sections in all the Indian languages. Top trade analyst Taran Adarsh who has regular box-office tweets posted the first week numbers of Avengers: Endgame. He compared the film with other Bollywood biggies and Baahubali: The Conclusion.
This did not go well with Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda and he took his time to share a quick reply. Shobu said that it’s not fair to name Baahubali: The Conclusion numbers (only Hindi) along with the Bollywood movies that released all over the country. Shobu was absolutely logical as Baahubali: The Conclusion released in other Indian languages but the numbers mentioned in the tweet were just North Indian numbers. Avengers: Endgame figures are from all the languages and the other Bollywood films listed in the tweet too had figures across the country.
“Not to take away the success any of the films listed below, I don’t think this is a right comparison and doesn’t put things in perspective especially from veteran trade analyst like yourself! BB2 one language (predominantly North India) vs all other films all languages pan India” posted Shobu.
