SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning ended up as the biggest hit in the history of Telugu cinema. The film proved the stamina of Tollywood which opened new doors to periodic dramas. Balakrishna is now shooting for his 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni which is busy with the post-production work. Krish directed the film which is said to be a periodic drama and is being made on a massive budget. Balakrishna will essay the title role in the film and Shriya Saran is the female lead.
The audio of Gautamiputra Satakarni will be released on December 16th in Tirupathi and the update is that the event will take place in Taraka Rama Stadium, the same venue where the audio of Baahubali: The Beginning has been unveiled. Chiranthan Bhatt is the music composer and First Frame Entertainments is bankrolling this big budget film. Gautamiputra Satakarni will follow the sentiment of Baahubali and the theatrical trailer of the film will be unveiled on December 9th in over 100 screens.
