For the first time, Nandamuri Balakrishna has demanded full remuneration to be given before the entire shoot comes to an end. He has asked producer C Kalyan to settle the entire amount before he wraps up the dubbing part. Also, he is taking home high remuneration for ‘Ruler’. The senior star till a year ago was charging just Rs 5 to 7 crore. But for this movie he is taking more than Rs 10 Cr. This is a sudden jump in remuneration.
Balakrishna hiking his remuneration after two back-to-back flops of ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’ and ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ has surprised the producer. But he has no option but agree to Balakrishna’s demand as producer C Kalyan made good profits on his previous movie ‘Jai Simha’.
C Kalyan is repeating the same combination of ‘Jai Simha’ with ‘Ruler’ and he can sell the movie for a good price. Knowing this well, Balayya has demanded high remuneration and full pay before the release.
KS Ravikumar is directing this film that will release on December 20.
