Nandamuri Balakrishna scored his career’s biggest hit with Gautamiputra Satakarni which released during Sankranthi this year. The movie is all about the warrior king Gautamiputra Satakarni and Balayya roared loudly in the assigned role. The movie has been given tax exemption in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Balakrishna personally met the Chief Ministers of AP and Telangana to thank them for their gesture towards Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Now a pill has been filed against Balakrishna in High Court and Balakrishna has been asked to file a counter before two weeks. The pill reads that the amount that has been saved from tax exemption should be given back to the audience. Rudhramadevi director and producer Gunasekhar too received the notices and the film too has been exempted from tax. First Frame Entertainments bankrolled Gautamiputra Satakarni.
