Nandamuri Balakrishna or Balayya, as he is fondly known, is courting controversy very frequently these days. The actor was in trouble sometime back for some comments related women and pregnancy and was forced to issue a public apology.
Recently, he was seen smoking in public without his shirt at the Nadigar Sangam cricket match. This image was posted across National dailies, who questioned the kind of example Balakrishna was setting as he was an MLA.
Perhaps, the frustration became too much to handle for Balayya. At the audio launch of Nayaki, where he was the Chief Guest, Balakrishna made a remark that shocked everyone and is now spreading rapidly on social media.
“Cigarette Thaganivvaru, Ammailni Muddu Kadupu chestha ante adhi kaadantaaru”, was the comment he made and it was caught live on video. Perhaps, it is time for Balakrishna and his PR team to sit together and chalk out a plan to avoid such controversial statements.
