Sensational director Puri Jagannadh completed 17 years in Tollywood and he is counting. The ace filmmaker was surprised how he missed an opportunity to direct Nandamuri Balakrishna all these years. He said that it was after ten minutes of narration of Theda Singh, Balayya signed the film saying that he knew Puri’s capabilities. He was in no mood to hear the final draft and wanted to start work revealed Puri. The sensational director even said that he wanted to see a new side of Balayya and show it to his fans.
Speaking about the film, Puri said “I love writing more than directing. I have a seen a serious Balayya all these years and so for the first time I wanted to see him smiling throughout the film. All his dialogues will be delivered with a smile. No other actor in Tollywood can match his energy levels. Right when we were half way done with Paisa Vasool, I have received notices from Special Investigation Team (SIT) and media presented me as a drug addict and drug peddler. Balayya Babu turned out to be a pillar of support for me during the tough time. Balayya is the only actor who called my wife and kids extending his moral support standing by my family side”.

Shriya Saran played the female lead and Anup Rubens composed the music. Paisa Vasool has been aimed for September 1st release.
